Bookcase Makeover

A few days ago I found the cutest little bookcase, thought it would be great for one of the kiddos. So I cleaned it up and started on the makeover. I decided to go with a pine green color to match my favorite paper that I wanted to use for it.

Before

After I cleaned it up I sanded the rest of it to prep for primer and paint. I painted it a pine green, distressed and antiqued it with mocha glaze.

I really like the paper that I mod podge on to it!!

  1. Hey, thanks for stopping by and inviting me over here. I love how you put paper on the back of your bookcase. I've seen lots of different back options but don't think I've seen paper mod podged onto the back. It's really cute. Great kitchen redo. I saw in your profile that you are in AZ. I used to live in Chandler. I was just thinking today how much I miss all the great thrift stores in Mesa. I just went to my local Goodwill and they had squat. So keep buying great pieces to redo and I'll live vicariously. Have a great day!
