Hand-made Christmas gifts

WOW I can't believe it is almost Christmas, where has December gone??? I know I have been MIA lately between my birthday, my son's birthday, Polar Express, and Disneyland trip it has been crazy!!!

I wanted to share some fun hand-made Christmas gifts that I have made this year!

I made a bunch of different Christmas word blocks, these are so fun and easy to make.

I also made a few fun custom frames they are also super easy to make and are super cute!!

I love hand-made gifts they mean so much more then just a store bought gift, so I always try and do some kind of fun hand-made gift for my family!!

Holiday Cards

Shutterfly is my favorite store for photo cards, calendars, and photobooks. I love giving photo calendars as gifts to family members. You would not believe how many compliments I have received on my calendar gifts.

Every Christmas I make photo calendars for our families...it is now a family tradition. Every one in my family loves all the photos and fun memories that are shared in the calenders. I love it because it cuts down on the amount of Christmas shopping I have to do!

I have I am so excited to share our Christmas card with all of our family and friends. I have to be honest, I have been thinking about our Christmas card since we had our family pictures taken over the summer. Shutterfly has so many options that it's hard to narrow down my favorites. Here are my top three favorite products from Shutterfly.

Holiday Word Block Craft

I thought sharing one of my favorite Christmas crafts would be the perfect for the Holidays. I designed these for my Christmas table and they were a hit! You can make word blocks for any event and your guest will love them...they are great decor! You can also wrap them up with a bow for gifts as well.

My boys helped me make them...they love doing crafts with me!!

Here’s what you’ll need:

• 3 wooden blocks, I found mine at Hobby Lobby
• Scrapbooking paper of your choice, I picked Christmas paper
• Card stock for the letters
• Paint brush, sandpaper
• Mod Podge

Here are a few simple instructions:
1. Cut your scrapbook paper to fit each block then mod podge the paper onto the block
2. Cut out letters using a cricut or pre bought letters from a craft store then mod podge them onto the blocks
3. Once it is dry use sandpaper to sand off the extra paper on the edges and glue the block together.

Viola...easy peasy!!
